Donda West, the mother of rapper Kanye West, died early Sunday in Los Angeles,she was only 58.Donda was a former English professor at Chicago State University also was her son’s manager and the chairwoman of the Kanye West Foundation.
Earlier this year, she released a book, “Raising Kanye,” that chronicled her son’s childhood.
A West spokesperson confirmed the death, and released a statement saying:
“the family respectfully asks for privacy during this time of grief.”
Kanye had a very close relationship with his mother,we can only imagine how hard it must be for him at this moment.
