Vernon Davis, who won the Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos earlier this year, was recently accused of cheating with a 20-year-old woman. His fiancée and the mother of his three children, Janel Horne, is the one, who called him out on social media over the alleged cheating.
The story has gone viral, and the athlete has not yet commented on the matter. Davis’ reputation has taken a hit with most commenters siding with Horne, although there is no way to verify that the cheating occurred. So, how did we get there?
On Monday, Horne posted a photo on Instagram and tagged her partner with the following caption:

It was accompanied by a split image of the Washington Redskins tight end and a young woman; both are seen smiling. The message was later deleted. Davis opted to quote the bible after the allegations surfaced, he posted on Instagram:
“When people do these things then we should hold hands and pray for them #Letshelpthem by #praying.”
