Oscar nominee Viola Davis is coming to a TV screen near you this fall.
Davis will star in ABC’s drama “How to Get Away With Murder,” which is produced by “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy” creayor Shonda Rhimes.
The alphabet network made the announcement earlier this week when it announced its lineup for the upcoming season.
“How to Get Away With Murder,” a legal thriller will focus on law professor Annalise Keating trapped in a criminal plot with her students.
“Hostages” actor Billy Brown will also be part of the casting, he will portray a character named Nate.
This will not be the first time that “The Help” actress appears on television, her credit includes several episodes of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “United States of Tara.”
“How to Get Away With Murder” will air on Thursdays this fall in the 10 p.m. time slot right after “Scandal” that was moved at 9 p.m.
