Raven-Symone is coming out as a lesbian, at least that is what one of her tweets seems to suggest.
The 27-year-old actress spent recent years dodging questions about her sexuality after a gossip article surfaced stating that she was living with her alleged girlfriend and former America’s Next Top Model contestant AzMarie Livingston.
The “That’s So Raven” actress apparently alluded to a recent Supreme Court decision that redefined marriage when she said the following on Twitter:
“I can finally get married! Yay government!” she tweeted. So proud of you.”
Fans immediately thought the post meant that Raven-Symone was getting married, something she quickly dismissed in a published statement:
“I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted. I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to.”
Fans like Twitter user Maddie Catanzaro were quick to show the TV star some love with the following message of support:
“My childhood remains intact. Because it’s based on her good acting skills and show, not sexuality. Congrats.”
