There’s an old R&B song called “Thin Line Between Love And Hate” about a guy who gets his woman so angry she sends him to the hospital.
They may have even made it into a movie once starring comedian Martin Lawrence.
Well, in this story, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall is sitting in a hospital with a knife wound inflicted by his wife. He’s reportedly in the Broward General Hospital having undergone surgery on Friday night.
Luckily Marshall didn’t have any vital organs damaged and that’s lucky. Sources say he should be alright in around two to three weeks.
However, Michi Nogami-Marshall was busted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is cooling her heels in jail on a $75,000 bond.
Nogami-Marshall reportedly said she was acting in self defense and that means she felt threatened by or had received an injury from Brandon.
Domestic violence problems are one of if not the most dangerous situations cops can face. Luckily no one else was hurt in this incident but Brandon could have been killed or permanently injured.
How this will affect his football career is unknown but it appears to be a family situation that has been going on for some time and didn’t get resolved until Nogami-Marshall pulled that blade let the hot air out of Brandon’s sails.
