More Michael Jackson death trial news and this time it gets even weirder, if that’s possible.
According to TMZ, the prosecutors in the wrongful death trial of Dr. Conrad Murray don’t want the defense to use information that involves the controversial Nation Of Islam.
They did not explain why the defense would use such evidence but state basically such information would be irrelevant to the case since the NOI has nothing to do with it.
The speculation is that the defense may want to try to paint Jackson as a weirdo or someone the court and jury would be unsympathetic to.
What’s even scarier here is that jurors could still be influenced by such nonsense when the jury is supposed to be impartial and look at the raw evidence, not engage in personal feelings and evaluations outside of the instructions and guidelines of the court.
This trial is opening up some interesting details in how the courts work as well as in what happened during Michael’s last days.
