The latest music video by Kanye West is causing controversy for more than one reason. Although the singer was first criticized for borrowing themes from a French film, it seems that people are now upset over the excessive amount of flashing lights that the film features.
The advocates at an epilepsy organization have recently requested that West’s video be pulled from British television, claiming that the amount of flashing lights in the film could cause sufferers of epilepsy to suffer a fit if they watch the film.
Leaders at the Cambridge Research Systems have claimed that sufferers from photosensitive epilepsy could suffer a seizure if they watch the film.
The video, with features Rihanna singing with West, was recently deemed unfit to be shown on British television by the Ofcom authority in the United Kingdom.
There is no authority about videos online however, so members of Epilepsy Action have asked that the video be removed from YouTube as well, even though it has garnered nearly five million hits since it’s premiere over the weekend. So far West has not commented on the request by the association.

Love the video!
I wish it was called flashing PIGS! That way the pigs who are complaining would actually have a reason to stop Kanye from throwing a bunch of dirty pigs at the tv screen! Some people are just complainers!
