Rapper Lil’ Kim recently debuted her new music video for accompanying track “Black Friday”, which she claims is dedicated to fellow female rapper Nicki Minaj. The music video is over six minutes long and features Kim making fun of Minaj, as well as promoting herself and the amount of people that love her.
A Minaj lookalike is featured in the video, wearing a pink wig just like the rapper, holding a Barbie doll version of herself. In the video, a young girl is seen choosing the Lil’ Kim doll over Minaj’s version, and she is seen throwing the cast-off to her dog, who gets to work chewing off the removable rear end of the Barbie doll.
This is an obvious reference to Minaj’s backside, which is extremely curvy and has caused many to wonder if the star ever received implants.
The video also features Kim quoting Michael Jackson, and saying, “It is better to fail in originality than to succeed at imitation…period.” The single “Black Friday” was taken off of Kim’s recently released mixtape. Minaj tweeted about the cover, which show’s Kim’s doll decapitating the Minaj version, saying, “Bwaahhhhahhahahahahahahahahhahahhhaaahhhhhaaahahahahahahahhhaha!!!!!!!!!! *lifeless* *leaves on stretcher* *cant go on*”
