Caira Ferguson Arrested: Mom In Duct-tape Toddler Case

Caira Ferguson a Pennsylvania mother has been charged with child endangerment following her showing of a photograph of herself posing with her two year old daughter that was bound and gagged with duct tape.

The 21 year old mother showed the photo to authorities as part of a claim she says involved identity theft according to Chester Township Police.

A website called MediaTakeout.com showed the startling photograph that depicts the child wearing a diaper tied to a chair with duct tape holding her legs, arms, chest, and mouth.

A search or her home on Wednesday from an issued outstanding warrants led to cops discovering the chair with remains of duct tape still adhered to it. Ferguson’s apprehension soon followed.

Ferguson reportedly told NBC Philadelphia she was innocent.

Police Chief Ken Coalson to the Delco Times stated, “She told us that it is her in the photograph.” Again, Ferguson did admit during questioning that she was the one who bound her daughter to the chair seven months ago.

Ferguson is being held without bail as her daughter remains in the custody of child welfare workers.
