Washington Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth is reportedly linked to another off-field accusation of misdeeds.
This time the accusation is coming from a restaurant waitress who claims Haynesworth touched her breast while paying a bill at a downtown Washington hotel, according to a WRC-TV report.
“There seems to be no truth to these allegations,” said Haynesworth’s agent Chad Speck. “And we are currently evaluating the facts and considering our own legal actions against those involved.”
An investigation has been launched by Washington D.C. police, according to spokeswoman Tisha Gant.
She declined to give details and no charges have been filed. Gant would not say whether Haynesworth is a suspect.
“We’re gathering all the facts and until then we have no comment,” said Redskins spokesman Tony Wyllie.
The allegation against Haynesworth is another in a long string of incidents linked to the NFL player. Last year he faced lawsuits involving a bank, an automobile accident victim, an exotic dancer and his ex-wife.
Just weeks ago Haynesworth was charged with misdemeanor assault in Fairfax, Virginia, in connection to a road rage incident.
And those incidents don’t include Haynesworth’s on-field troubles. Last year he had long running disputes over playing time and conditioning with coach Mike Shanahan.
It’s all been enough for Haynesworth’s teammate Philip Daniels to tweet: “Man does it ever end.”
