President Obama Talks Fox News During O’Reilly Super Bowl Interview

The controversial but popular talk show “The O’Reilly Factor” hosted a follow up to its live interview between President Barack Obama and Bill O’Reilly that originally aired on Sunday just before the record breaking Super Bowl.

On the program the President and O’Reilly covered such topics as Afghanistan, Iran, and the growing deficit.

O’Reilly even asked Mr. Obama about his views regarding Fox News.

Obama in turn pointed out that he felt that what O’Reilly and his colleagues should be doing is giving the public the facts without the spinning.
Obama was asked if he was being treated fairly by Fox News.

He replied by saying that he felt the network was trying to do a good job but that they had a point of view which wasn’t wrong as it was in the tradition of the news industry and that it was part of the democratic process.

O’Reilly then pressed on regarding the President’s policies and the outlook for the war in Afghanistan.
He responded by saying that he was sure America would defeat Al Qaeda and the Taliban but would not be retaking Afghanistan. But admitted that the couldn’t state all that with 100 percent certainty.
