It looks like Wiz Khalifa is determined to make sure that his fans understand that he lives by marijuana, as he keeps putting plenty of clues in his music and videos for them to figure it out.
Khalifa’s latest music video is for the track “On My Level”, and will likely be released as a video-only track, and so will not appear on the singer’s upcoming album.
The album, entitled “Rolling Papers”, will be released on March 29 throughout the United States. Despite the obvious reference to weed in the title, Khalifa insists that there is more to it than that.
He recently told the press, “It’s bigger than that. The second reason why I call it that is when I left Warner Bros. [without releasing anything], I got my rolling papers…I was able to walk, I was able to leave, I was able to do my thing. That’s another pair of papers I really needed in my life.”
The artist continued on, saying, “I quit writing like a long time ago. Not like I don’t write my own songs. But I stopped physically writing them down or putting them into my Blackberry or iPhone or something like that.”
