Singer Jennifer Hudson recently released a new song in order to appease her fans that have been waiting for some new material from the artist for quite awhile.
The single is called “Where You At”, and was written by singer R. Kelly. Harvey Mason Jr. took on the production work for the song, and Hudson, as usual, sings her heart out.
The song features Hudson mourning a love gone wrong, singing, “I stood here in the freezing cold, and I waited for ya, but you never showed.—Thought you were my hero, but as it turns out you’re a no-show.”
The single will be included on Hudson’s second studio album that will be released in the United States on March 22. The album is called, “I Remember Me”, and Hudson recently spoke to the press about the changes she was making for the album.
“I’m excited about this album because it’s almost like a renewal for me, reflected through the chapters of my life. I’ve called it ‘I Remember Me’ because of the journey I’ve been on. I’ve learned that life constantly surprises you, no matter your plans,” Hudson recently said.
I am very excited to have Jennifer Hudson back in the Industry. She has such a beautiful voice. The very talented singer has truely been missed. I love the new single. My girl Jhud is back putting it down like no other. I have already pre-ordered my cd copy (both Incredible and Amazing as an artist).
I am definitely a fan of Jennifer Hudson and I am really feeling this song. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album! I am looking forward to it!
