Twin television stars Tamera and Tia Mowry have decided to make 2011 their year. Tamera Mowry will marry her longtime boyfriend Fox News Channel reporter Adam Housley.
Thursday’s big announcement came just days after her twin sister Tia revealed she is pregnant for the first time. The sisters starred in the wildly popular sitcom “Sister, Sister” that ran from 1994 to 1999.
The show featured the adventures of twin girls who were separated at birth but that accidentally meet at a shopping mall and end up living together with their adoptive parents.
According to Tamera Mowry’s announcement, she was in Venice with Housley when he gave her a limited vintage design engagement ring by Viraggio and asked her to be his wife for the second time (the duo were briefly engaged few years ago but broke it of).
The couple will marry later this year. “Not only is he my love, but also my best friend,” Tamera Mowry said, of her beau.
Last Tuesday, People Magazine cited a source in announcing that Tia Mowry and husband Cory Hardrict are expecting a child. The couple was married in Santa Barbara in 2008.
“This is something they’ve wanted for a long time and they are thrilled,” the source told People. Tia Mowry is currently featured on BET’s “The Game.” Reports are circulating that her pregnancy will be documented on an upcoming Style Network reality show.
