Earlier this week Kanye West who famous for creating headlines decided to interrupt Britney Spears via Twitter.
West has a history of making waves with other artists, such as at the 2009 VMAs when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, effectively derailing his career temporarily until he finally started to get it back on track again.
West spent a few months laying low before reemerging again into the public eye, but it seems like he is still up to his old tricks.
West who had his latest track “H.A.M.” beaten by Spears on iTunes attempted to make a joke with the popstar via Twitter that didn’t go over that well.
West who also Tweeted that he was happy for Avril Lavigne told Britney Spears:
“I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z single is one of the best songs of all time.”
He later tweeted “No hate in 2011”, which made it seem like he was trying to take a step back from the joke he just made so as not to attract the same kind of harsh criticism as with the VMAs in 2009.
Spears’ manager wrote back on her Twitter, saying thank you to West for “letting them be number one”, and that it was much appreciated. West has been working with Jay-Z on a CD titled “Watch the Throne” which will be released in March.

Britney tanks for letting Kanye West know that you’re POP music will probably be more relevant in music history than Kanye’s R&B/Rap whatever will ever be :D.

This only shows that Kanye is passionate about music, which is the same for anyone who has a competitve streak in say . i.e sports, most footballers etc try to put each other off their game or rib on the other to win. Why can’t people just take it as that as a little competitive fun. And to lalala who is clearly living in lalala land how is Kanye West’s music not going to be as relevant, pop stars have been or are copying the style and format of music like Kanye’s, Missy Elliot who was a massive influence on the music tone that we have today, Britney has definitely taken a big utrun towards that style cconsidering what her teeny bopper music was like in the begining. Don’t hate on something or someone that is bigger than you, you lalala (more like dipsy) definitely won’t win. Plus a lot of crap is relevant today because crap people like you make it so ‘ cause you know nothing about half decent music and like to stay in your comfort zones.
