Two of America’s most iconic rappers recently made an announcement that had their fans screaming for joy. Jay-Z and Kanye West have said that their joint album will be released in the United States sometime in the next week. All of their fans have expressed excitement and anticipation for the collaborative EP, which is entitled “Watch the Throne”.
The two announced that they would be collaborating on an album after their hit song “Monster” was released in August 2010 on West’s latest studio album.
When the duo announced their plans to release an album, they did not give many details, other than saying that fans could look forward to it’s arrival sometime in early 2011.
However, West recently announced to a room full of partiers celebrating New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas that the album would be released sometime in the near future.
He said, “We got that new Watch the Throne comin’ in one week,” news that caused fans to give screaming cheers.
West was not the only celeb in attendance at the New Year’s Eve party—Beyonce, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and P. Diddy were also at the club as well.
