Trade season is upon us once again and the NBA is busy crafting deals with various teams for players that they want for the upcoming seasons. Recently Carmelo Anthony has been one of the hottest and sought-after players in the game and the Nets are trying to do everything in their power to get him.
New Jersey has voiced its position when it comes to getting Anthony and they seem determined to make the trade no matter what it takes.
Although certain trades have already gone through, they are what the Vice president of basketball operations calls “false” and that Anthony will in fact be playing for Denver on Thursday where his team will go up against San Antonio.
While December 15th may not be the official start date of the trading season for the NBA, that is when most of the teams in the league get to work in order to acquire the best players.
The trade deadline for Anthony has been set to February 24th and in recent interviews he has been asked about the trading that has been going on as well as the insanity which ensued after he scored 35 points at the Pepsi Center – but of course he stayed mum. There is no doubt whatsoever that Anthony is hot right now and wanted by many different teams.
