Michael Brea Ugly Betty Actor Murdered Mother Yannick Brea: Report – Michael Brea who is best-known for his role on the popular TV show “Ugly Betty” has been accused of murdering his mother by stabbing here to death in Prospect Heights which is located in Brooklyn. The New York Daily News first broke the story on Tuesday when the star who also made an appearance in the move “Step Up 3D” was accused of killing his mother using the somewhat unusual weapon of a samurai sword.

A neighbor who listened in on the incident heard biblical phrases being repeated over and over while the slaying of the 55 year old woman happened.


Although Brea has not been charged with anything yet, the police did take him into custody and he is in the process of going through a psychiatric evaluation in a hospital. While he may not have been officially charged as of yet, the police have commented, saying that he in fact a person of interest in this murder investigation. They plan to hold him until the draw a definitive conclusion as to whether or not he was capable of doing this. The murder was reported to have happened on Tuesday morning, according to police and other sources which remain confidential.
