Michael Jackson Breaking News – Albums, TV shows, shows, movies: a year and a half after his death, Michael Jackson, who was recently named the richest dead artist of the year, is everywhere.
On Monday, a new song called “Breaking News” was supposed to leak on www.michaeljackson.com but it has been unveiled a little bit earlier than planned.
In “Breaking News” which is reminiscent of Billie Jean the late pop star can be heard singing about being harassed by the media as he tries to deal with his demons and live a normal life. The song sounds pretty decent but we need to ask – is that really Micheal’s voice? or is it some impostor? (more on that later on…)
The song will be featured on his first posthumous album, simply called “Michael” that will be out on December 10.
The CD will feature at least five new songs that Jackson had recorded in 2007 at the home of his friend Eddie Cascio. This album is the first of a series of records that Sony will be releasing after inking a 225 million dollar contract in March with MJ’s estate.
His children Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12, and Prince II, 8, have stated that the voice that can be heard on the song is not that of their father because they were with him during the four-month stay by Cascio and he never recorded a song called “Breaking News”.
Sony has immediately denied the kids’ story calming that experts have authenticate the voice and certified that this is Michael Jackson on the song.
In related news the children will no longer be hiding from the media- on Monday evening they will be participating in an episode of the Oprah Winfrey show, that was filmed in their house accompanied by their grand parents Katherine and Joe.
And for those of you who can not get enough of the King of Pop, Cirque du Soleil, will be having a show called “Immortal” dedicated to Michael Jackson that will debut in the United States in 2011 .
