Shannon Brown And Monica Engaged – Monica who split from Rodney “Rocko” Hill back in October of 2009 is now engaged to Shannon Brown of the Los Angeles Lakers.
In the summer of 2010 the singer met Shannon Brown while filming the music video for the song called “Love All Over Me” off her “Still Standing” CD.
“The Boy Is Mine” singer posted a picture of her huge 10 karat engagement ring on her Twitter account and responded to her haters and fans who think that she is going to fast with Brown.
The R&B diva said:
“We realize people will have their opinions. That’s the way of the world.
But we know who we are & who’s we are. We pray 2 an awesome God 2gether. And that is what keeps us strong. So for all my real supporters who are happy for me.
I thank u, I love u, & I’m realistic enough about life To know my journey has just begun. I don’t have anything else to say about it 2 people who judge. If u worked on self u wouldn’t even see me.”

May you and Shannon be blessed beyond your own understanding. NEVER listen to the nay sayers because when all is said and done, the ONLY one who truly matters is God. God loves the married couple and will sustain your marriage if you keep the faith in Him and stay true to each other (forsaking ALL others). His will shall be done. Too soon to get married? What is God’s definition of too soon? OR What is the timeframe to get engaged or married?

Actually she took the picture looking at the mirror, so it would appear as though it’s on her right hand when actually it’s on her left. You can try it yourself using your camera and a mirror.
