Josie Harris Floyd Mayweather Jr. – Boxer Arrested For Grand Larceny – Floyd “Pretty Boy” Mayweather has been arrested and booked on the charges of grand larceny following a domestic violence incident with a former girlfriend (Josie Harris) of his.
The arrest took place this morning, and he was booked at 10:45 AM. Mayweather reportedly took a number of items from her home, including her cell phone following a confrontation.
Police were unable to arrest Mayweather on domestic violence charges because domestic violence arrests must occur within 24 hours of the crime. He was being held on $3,000 bail and posted that almost immediately after entering the facility.
Representatives for Mayweather have said that he did not steal her phone, and that they are working on finding the misplaced phone or finding a way to give her a replacement. Lawyers for Mayweather also said that he would be willing to cooperate with any domestic violence charges if an investigation were launched.
The woman (Josie Harris), who has three children with Mayweather, has filed a temporary protection order. She claims that Mayweather punched her in the head during the altercation, and also pulled her hair and attempted to break her arm.
Mayweather reportedly entered her home while she was sleeping. The altercation took place after she found Mayweather searching through her belongings. Mayweather then reportedly accused her of dating another man.
The woman (Josie Harris) also claims that Mayweather has stopped by her place of residence uninvited on several occasions recently under the guise of “checking up on her.” She claims that he was trying to catch her with the new boyfriend that he believes she has.
