Pras Not Endorsing Wyclef Haiti Presidential Bid: Michel Martelly (Sweet Micky) Endorsement – Wyclef’s former band mate, Pras, is not backing his bid to become the president of Haiti, his home country. He has received criticism from the media, and now his childhood friend and former band mate is attacking him. The Haitian-born musician said that he will not back Jean because he lacks a definitive plan to bring the island nation back into the 21st century.
“You’ve got 1.2 million people living in tent city right now. What are the plans to get those people out,” Pras asked of Wyclef during a recent interview. He was referring to those that are still homeless in the wake of the earthquake that struck the nation earlier in the year.
Pras said that he would support Jean’s opponent, Michel Martelly instead. He said that he believed that Martelly is better suited to run the country, and that he is more popular in Haiti than Wyclef.
Jean’s representatives did not comment on the comments that were made by Pras. Jean is currently regarded as the front runner in the upcoming election, but criticism could cause him to lose support both in Haiti and in the United States in his bid to become the president of Haiti.
It will be interesting to see how Jean responds to all of the criticism that has been directed at him over the course of the last few days. Sean Penn also attacked Jean, saying that he wanted allegations that Jean mishandled Haitian charity money for his Haitian charity, Yele, to be investigated further.
I think he just wants to run for president because the missionary’s there is doing more and has done more for Haiti than any body. Sherry and Bobby Bernett should run for president because they truly love and care for the haitian people and has been caring for them for more than 20 years. Sherry and Bobby take care of millions of people there. They have provided food, shelter, and clothing for the people there and they Love the Lord. I pray that whom every tries to bombard what those two missionary’s there are doing, that Jehovah kills them.
When the Haitian people didn’t have anything at all before the missionary’s came in, nobody wanted to help them. They are one of the poorest country on earth, and I faithfully send money to support the missionary’s with their mission to educate, cloth, house, provide wells and drinking water, preach the Word of God to those people most of all.
Haiti is doing fine the way they are going now. Wyclef doesn’t want to do nothing but cause confusion for the people there.
If anyone touch Gods prophets and anointed ones there in that country, the Lord will destroy them.
People need to be careful who and what they mess with, The Lord is doing a good work in that country and devils need to keep away.
