Nicki Minaj Your Love Video – Nicki Minaj has been rising on the charts with the release of her latest single titled “Your Love.” Now, Minaj has unveiled a video to go along with the single.
The 25 year old rap artist filmed the clip several weeks ago, and released the video online for all to see today. Her newest single, which samples Annie Lennox’s No More I love You’s, is now a number 1 hit on the Billboard charts. It is the first song by a female rap artist to reach number one on the Billboard charts in nearly eight years.
Minaj was reportedly not all that fond of the song, and was considering not even releasing it. The song eventually made its way to the Internet, where it became an instant hit and quickly climbed the charts.
The director for her video is Hype Williams, who is one of the most popular rap video directors of all time. “Your Love” is filled with the wordplay and stabbing punchlines that Minaj has become known for.
Her label mate, Drake, recently released his debut album as well, entitled “Thank Me Later.” The album performed very well in its first week, selling over 400,000 hard copies of the album. However, just two weeks later, Eminem dropped his album “Recovery,” which overshadowed the release of Drake’s album when it sold over 700,000 copies in its first week.
Minaj has been featured on a number of Billboard-climbing songs over the course of the last few months. It will be interesting to see how well her debut album performs.

Nicki really is better off doing rap, but i ddnt care for the song the very first time i heard it but now i love it but it does sound a lil different in the video than the radio… Nicki kno what to do and she stay real no matter wht she do.

ok i like the song but it bothers me that she says i think i met him someplace a long time ago i think i was a geisha he was a samauri some how i understood him when he spoke thai…….the samauri and the geisha came from japan culture not thai other than that is ok….until they played it for the 20th time in one hour. most of her lyrics are ok but i just dont think it stands up to older hip hop and rap songs just my opinion

I luv Nicki!! When I see Nicki I see a hood sister who made it out and has taken flight in the music industry. She is unique in her style and verbage. I actually think she is one of the best femcee’s ever and I grew up listening to Queen Latifah and MC Lite. I will definitely vote for her to be best new artist.
