Michael Vick In Trouble: Timeline in Question after Shooting – Michael Vick has been unable to stay out of trouble since he returned to the NFL. After his highly publicized dog-fighting incident, Vick has been relatively quiet after his exit from prison. Now, Vick appears to have been in attendance at a party where a shooting occurred. A video from the Virginia Beach restaurant that hosted Vick’s birthday party shows that some of the statements that the athlete provided in the wake of the shooting may have been less than truthful.
The paper quoted Allen Fabijan, the spokesman for the restaurant, saying that Vick and his friends left the front of the restaurant at 2:07 AM. Three minutes later, a number of shots were fired from that direction. Vick’s former codefendant in his previous case, Quanis Phillips was injured in the shooting.
Vick left at 2:07, and the shots were fired at 2:10. Fabijan went on to say that he did not think that Vick has taken part in the shooting, only that he had left just a few minutes before.
A lawyer for Vick said that he stood by his client’s statement, saying that Michael Vick was long gone before the shooting.
“He does not know who did the shooting and had nothing to do with the shooting,” Woodward said on Tuesday.
The surveillance video was turned over to police, who will investigate the clip to see if anything seems out of place. Vick will be playing for the Philadelphia Eagles this season after he missed two seasons during the prime of his career while locked up in prison. Phillips had been shot in the leg, and the injuries were not life threatening.

Nothing that Quanis Phillips did that night from the details suggest that he was calm in that parking lot and somebody just walked up and shot him.
Vick asked Quanis Phillips to leave the party because it was in violation of his probation for them to be around each other. So Quanis Phillips gets mad and refuses to leave the party. So Michael Vick leaves his own party.
Quanis Phillips was looking to start trouble so Vick left. The video tape proves it!!! If he was still there after Vick left he was probably starting a fight with somebody else.
I THINK Quanis Phillips HAD MISPLACED INTERNAL HATE because wasn’t as strong as chief of staff Lewis ‘Scooter’ Libby. He probably felt like a “snitch” in a crowded room when Vick told him to leave. But Vick was just trying to obey the rule of his probation.
But that hasn’t good enough for Quanis Phillips. He had to prove he was bad. So he had to prove that he could beat everybody up to make himself fill better. He punked Vick into leaving. But that wasn’t enough.
Everybody that payed $50 to get in the party and had to leave early had a reason to be mad at Quanis Phillips. Was he drunk??? Not to mention the people that didn’t have $50 and everyone else can be in the parking lot.
