Ron Artest Interview:Ron Artest Psychiatrist In Post Game Video – Ron Artest certainly got right to celebrating after the Lakers won the NBA Finals in game 7. His long, successful career, has been marred by a number of incidents that have left his reputation in the league inevitably tarnished. The most famous incident was one that involved him punching a fan that threw their beer on him during a sideline brawl. In order to do so, he had to run up into the stands several rows back. the incident caused him to be suspended, and put an indefinite cloud over the rest of his career. He first arrived with the Lakers of July of last year, and said at the time that he hoped to contribute to a championship for the team. He was able to do so in the NBA finals this year.
“I have to win myself over first, I have to make sure I do everything possible this summer to come back a better player. If I give 100% I know it won’t be a problem to win the team over,” he had said at the time, referring to his tarnished reputation.
He answered a number of questions from reporters after the game, obviously intoxicated, joking around with the crowd. Most of the journalists had their faces in their laptops, and were not looking up at Artest as he spoke.Artest thanked “everybody in my hood,” “my doctor” and “my psychiatrist.””Thank you so much,” he gushed to the ABC reporter. “There’s so much commotion going in the playoffs. She helped me relax.”
“Please acknowledge me!,” he screamed at the room, garnering laughs from every side.
Last night, Artest finally got to prove that he was indeed a previous commodity in the organization and to the league. A nailed a number of key shots throughout their championship run, and now that he has his ring, will reportedly consider retirement heavily during the off season. As they say, it is always better to go out on top.
I love Ron Artest and I’m happy that God has blessed him this year with a NBA win. Artest joining the Lakers was one of the best things that every happened to him because Kobe and his crew will take good care of him. I would like to know where I can write Mr. Artest directly because I would like for him to come speak at our all male high school?
