Shannon Price Gary Coleman Ex Named Sole Heir – Gary Coleman’s ex-wife, Shannon Price, was named the heir to his estate. She was the only person that was named as an heir to the estate. In 2007, Coleman had written a will that left all of his possessions, including a toy train collection, to his wife at the time. Price has since been accused of attempting to sell photos of Coleman to tabloids and magazines that showed him lying dead in the hospital just moments after his death.
Reportedly, Shannon price submitted a handwritten documented that was dated on September 4th, 2007, that named her as the only beneficiary to his will. The document was written only a week after the two first wed, and included a passage that many have said that they consider to be odd.
“This is done because of my own personal selfishness and weakness and I love her with all of my heart,” it said in the handwritten statement regarding the estate of Gary Coleman.
Coleman, who had financial troubles in the later part of his life, likely did not have much to leave to her. Speculation over what the cryptic sentence at the end of the statement means will likely be speculated on for some time to come. Price has received increased criticism after she attempted to sell photos of her former husband, dead, to a number of tabloids and magazines. The photos were turned down by several magazines for being too tasteless.
