Gary Coleman Hospitalized – Gary Coleman, the star of the sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes” has been hospitalized, according to recent reports. Coleman grew up as a child star, but has since fallen on hard times. Coleman reportedly is in critical condition at a Utah hospital after severely injuring himself after he fell and hit his head. Coleman, who is now 42, was admitted to the facility, and shortly afterward underwent surgery. The accident reportedly occurred at his home.
Coleman reportedly made it through the surgery, and a brother in a law of the former actor confirmed that he is now recovering in the hospital’s intensive care unit. Other details regarding the matter were not made available by his agent, who has yet to respond to any requests for information.
Coleman suffers from a congenital kidney disease, and often requires frequent dialysis. He has faced a number of different health issues over the course of the last few months. He had previously been hospitalized in January, then again in February after reportedly suffering seizures in his home. There has been no report as to why Coleman may have been suffering these seizures.
Coleman recent caused a stir when he had a number of his own items for sale on the popular auction website, eBay. Among the items were an autographed pair of shoelaces, a pair of sweatpants, an an array of other items that Coleman hoped would fetch him a small bundle on eBay. The items reportedly garnered less interest than they had originally thought.
