Venus Williams French Open Outfit – Venus Williams fans have been making a bigger deal about the outfit that Venus wore in her French Open appearance than her wild victory over Patty Schnyder. Many have said that her tennis outfit was more lingerie than an athletic outfit. The small miniskirt fit even more tightly than it could have on her muscular exterior. The dress was also lined in hot red lining, that exposed much of her body. She performed great it her match, unfortunately most of the attention on her performance revolved around her attire, rather than her performance.

Williams told reporters that she often brings eight to ten outfits to each tournament, in case she is able to advance. The one that she wore just happened to be the one that she had picked out for that day. Williams apparently did not see what the big deal was, but many in the press thought that her choice of dress was meant more for reality television than for the French Open.

In the first day of the tournament, Williams was also able to secure a victory against another top ten player. However, entering the third round, Williams has some demons that she needs to exercise before she is able to advance. She has lost in the third round in each of her last three tournaments, a streak that Williams is hoping she can break at the French Open. This is also the first time that the tennis star has been able to earn a ranking of 2 in the world or better since 2003, when she last held the number two spot behind her sister, Serena, who held the number one spot at the time.
