Mashonda Sues Swizz Beatz Over Unpaid Support – The ex of Swizz Beatz, Mashonda recently sued the famous producer who is currently dating Alicia Keys over unpaid child support. The papers were filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. Mashonda Dean said in the papers that Swizz Beatz owes her over $334,000 in missed support payments since the two first officially split.
“I so much wanted both of us to get on with our lives and maintain our respect for one another, but he now shows that his priorities and sense of responsibility are screwed up,” the R&B singer said.
Bernard Clair, the lawyer for Dean, described the non-payment as “troubling,” and said that reports that Swizz had bought a seven carat engagement ring for Keys earlier in the year and other real estate acquisitions makes him question the motives behind Swizz not paying.
Swizz recently told newspapers that the allegations that he owes in the hundreds of thousands is “inaccurate,” and “overblown.” According to Swizz, he owes much less than the figures that she is reporting, if any at all. He said that he had agreed to pay her more than the judge required, and even more than his lawyer had advised him to pay when him and his wife split.
“I gave over what the judge was recommending to give. I gave her $700,000 up front, because I thought $200,000 wasn’t enough for what she wanted to do. I still get spit in my face for it,” he said.
Although, I don’t know exactly what happened to end their marriage, I believe mashonda. The reason swizz gave for choosing to leave his family just doesn’t sound truthful at all. If she was trying to make you choose between your older son and the marriage, why did it take so long for you to leave. Swizz, you say that you were unhappy for 10 years. With that being said, I ask this question what made you stay? You have never said what made you stay for so long. Please don’t say your son because he only accounts for three of those years. I saw the interview with dj enough, I read between the lines. You wanted someone that was more of your equal. Would you have stayed if her career was as successful as alicia’s or yours. To alicia. You can’t possibly think that you actions concerning this matter was correct in the eyes of the creator. You should’ve handled things a lot differently.
