Usher Grace Miguel Engagement,Baby Rumors Denial – Usher is not getting married or expecting a baby, says his reps, contrary to various online reports.
The internet was buzzing with rumors that the Grammy-winning singer and his rumored-to-be-girlfriend Grace Miguel were pregnant and soon-to-wed after being spotted together strolling through a Buckhead park in Atlanta.
But those rumors seem to have been greatly exaggerated.
“There is absolutely no truth to it,” Usher’s rep told E! News.
Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster-Raymond also jumped in the chatter, lashing out against her former boo on Twitter after hearing the rumors. The mother of his two sons allegedly called him a “b**ch dude,” according to tweets posted on the celebrity gossip site TheYBF.com.
Usher was first linked to Miguel last June at about the same time he filed for divorce from Tameka after two years of marriage.
Meanwhile, Usher is happy that his mom is no longer managing his career – because he needs her for “moral support” these days.
The R&B crooner ended his 15-year professional relationship with mom Jonnetta Patton in 2008 before reinstating her following lackluster sales of his 2008 album Here I Stand.
The pair decided to cut ties once again in March last year (2009) and Usher is convinced the mutual decision was for the best, because they now enjoy a healthy mother-and-son relationship. The “Yeah!” hitmaker admits he now relies on his mom in his personal life, following his divorce from wife Tameka Foster in November 2009.
He says, “It was an agreement between the two of us (to part ways) but that message has been misconstrued because we just never chose to have a conversation in public about our relationship. I can have many managers, but I can only have one mother. And having been introduced to these new stages of my life where I do need that support, that’s where I need her.”
