Naomi Campbell Mad At ABC News Blood Diamond Questions Video – Naomi Campbell is making headlines yet again for her temper. It seems the supermodel can’t get her “anger management” issues under control.
Campbell recently lashed out at a gutsy ABC camera crew for asking her about a blood diamond, allegedly given to her by Liberian despot Charle Taylor.
In her latest attack, the 5’9 beauty abused an inanimate object rather than a person, as she backhanded an ABC News camera after becoming enraged over a line of questioning from an ABC reporter about her possible involvement with political criminal Charle Taylor. Fortunately, no one was harmed in the emotional outburst.
“Anger is about consequences, and for regular folk that type of unabashed anger results in loss of friendships, relationships, possibly job loss,” explained radio host and exert Cooper Lawrence. “The consequences are immediate and severe, so there is a reason to learn to control bursts of rage and anger. But for someone who has stardom, money and zero consequences, there is no motivation to stop being who you are.
“At worst, she pays off her victims. No lessons to learn for her – except maybe bad press? She doesn’t care. She isn’t losing work, fame or fans. It’s having zero impact on her life, so why change?” he continued, referring to Campbell’s continued dysfunctional behavior.
In 2000, Campbell pleaded guilty to a 1998 assault on Georgina Galanis, her one-time assistant. Campbell attacked Galanis with a telephone in a hotel room and threatened to throw her out of a moving car. In 2004, she was accused of allegedly head-butting personal assistant Amie Castaldo in the face, biting her on the lip and yanking her to the ground by her hair. Then, in 2006, she hit housekeeper Ana Scolavino with a jewel-encrusted phone. She again used a mobile device as a weapon in 2006, allegedly slapping her assistant and beating her on the head with a Blackberry. In 2008, she kicked and spat at police after an incident at London’s Heathrow Airport, and earlier this year she allegedly smacked and punched a driver while he was driving her around midtown Manhattan.
