Kelis Adewale Ogunleye Dating – Kelis is known for being a fashion trendsetter, but these days the newly divorced mom is setting trends in the romance department – showing us how fast to move on to the next one.
Word on the cyber streets is that Kelis has a new beau’, who may look familiar if perhaps you’re a Chicago Bears or Sanaa Lathan fan.
According to Honey magazine sources, Kelis and former Chicago Bears player Adewale Ogunleye have been dating for at least two months. The duo were spotted as far back as Super Bowl weekend, when they were seen stepping out of a Miami movie theater together hand in hand.
Just this past weekend, they were seen at the Winter Music Conference, also in Miami. Ogunleye was in attendance as Kelis performed tracks from her upcoming album at the Belvedere Music Lounge. Later that night sources spotted them canoodling in VIP at Club LIV.
Ogunleye was in a relationship with another famous face – Sanaa Lathan for four years, which ended just last year. The defensive end is now a free agent after being placed on season-ending injured reserve by the Chicago Bears for fracturing his left tibula in a December 20, 2009 game against the Baltimore Ravens. Perhaps, unemployment put a damper on things with Sanaa, which in turn is giving him ample time to spend with Kelis. In their case, a bad situation for Sanaa may be a good situation for Kelis, who recently divorced her rapper-husband Nas.
