Beyonce Heat Fragrance $3 Million In Sales

Beyonce Heat Fragrance $3 Million In Sales – Not only does Beyoncè sell millions of records, her new fragrance made $3 million in its debut.
The singer’s ‘Heat’ perfume, which launched last month exclusively at Macy’s, has been flying off the counters. It is the diva’s first fragrance and the signature scent is the retailer’s number one brand, and has already generated $3 million in its first month out. Customers purchased 72,000 bottles alone in a single hour during an in-person N.Y.C. appearance by the star, according to WWD.
But the booming sales come as no surprise to the superstar, as she had tested the fragrance first-hand before it hit shelves. “I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments.”

Beyoncè said she took the inspiration for the fragrance’s name from previous tours. “A lot of my performances have had fire involved, so we thought ‘Heat,’ she explained. “Also, red is one of my favorite colors, as is gold.” The pop star looked to her eclectic taste for the bottle’s design. “I wanted something with an antique yet modern feeling,” she said. Even with my wardrobe, I always try to find things that have a little bit of something vintage, yet still timeless and classic.”

Beyoncè, who has been the face of Tommy Hilfiger’s True Star and Giorgio Armani’s Emporio Diamonds fragrances, said it was the first time she started from scratch on a project. “Everything, from the bottle design to the name and the ideas for the commercial—that’s me. When I commit to something, I do it 100 percent,” she said.
‘Heat’ is a mix of top notes of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach scents to arouse your senses. It includes eaux de parfum in three sizes, as well as sparkling body lotion, and retails for $39-$59. The best-selling fragrance can be purchased online at Macys.com or in stores across the country.

  1. I highly doubt she had a hand in “creating” the fragrance. She’s forever making claims that turn out to be untrue.
