Beyonce Cosmetology Center Brooklyn New York – Beyonce Knowles is proving that she is more than entertaining.The singer unveiled the Beyonce Cosmetology Center at the Phoenix House in Brooklyn, New York last night with her mother Tina and mayor, Michael Bloomberg at her side.Knowles has revealed that the center will be providing a residential substance abuse treatment program that will help people prepare for a career in cosmetology.According to Forbes,the “Single Ladies” singer who donated her entire acting salary from her 2008 film Cadillac Records to the Phoenix House charity ,teamed up with the non-profit organization and L’Oréal to create the Beyonce Center.
I am very proud of Beyonce Knowles for giving back to the community. I am a former brooklynite, and I truly appreciate what she has brought to the community in terms of hope for so many women trying to transition back into the mainstream.
