I think that all the kids are beautiful and I say as long as they are happy and take care of their kids then what’s the problem. For a person to be stuck on looks they must very small minded. You might get far but eventually it will run out and you may not have anybody who even cares to be around you. God must be at the center of your life for it to be a well balanced life. I have only witnessed Kimora praying a few times on her show. I was saddened to see that the prayers seemed to be rather narcissistic in nature & insulting to God. It was all about her & failed to encompass any issues outside her own bubble(that may just be tv-but still I try never to toy with or about God).
I feel for celebrities because having a team of “foot kissers” surround you all day because of your wealth & power would eventually lead any one of us to believe we are more imporant than what we are; to believe people are out to get us so we have to be nasty, rude & superior to them first; to constantly approach everything from a position of defense & so on. It is not something I envy & I see only a handful appear to handle it with grace & class while remaining out of the lime light.
Does Kimora ever plan on acknowledging her beautiful new husband’s existence? It seems either he did something that upset her (cheating or she found out he is just using her…?)/She “bought” him just to make a baby & he knows his place (kind of like Stedman & Oprah-but she treats Stedman pretty well)/ or-She is truly that fearful of showing another man any respect because of her past. Either way it is sickening to my stomach to watch her carry on with little to no input & interaction from him. As for prior comments, trust me she is worth far more than he is so she did not marry him to use him.
Either way as much of a struggle as I think it would be to be a celebrity & not become self centered & worse, narcissistic, there will not be lasting peace, joy & happiness in any of our lives here & here-after if we neglect to place our entire focus on God. This is not about Kimora, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock or any other celebrity. It is about living your life with some degree of humility before God & looking to see how you can serve HIM. HE must be at the center of you waking up, putting your feet on the floor, breathing & all else-day in & day out. I am not implying that you can’t enjoy your monetary wealth, but at some point you have to ask how Jesus/God would handle millions of dollars or even thousands of dollars while others starve or are homeless? I am sure they all do their charitable benefits, but I have finally matured to a place where I know I could not live in excessive-excessiveness as hoardes of humans are struggling. I have learned over the last few years that giving is not giving until it causes you to “hurts” a little. I use to think quite differently & I was much more selfish years ago with a shopping list worthy of the devil’s envy. No more. I pray now for all who are filling their voids with materialism. I believe in being financially secure, otherwise I would become a member of the needy. However, security is not the same as a ridiculous abundance. I no longer desire to live to excess. I work on this in all areas of my life. This could apply to anyone in areas of partying, drinking, weight-food, exercising, plasitc surgery, sex & more. You can still like the finer things in life without going overboard.
We are not helping God’s children when we cause those without to yearn & pant for what others have (materialistically) & then we flaunt it in their face through “reality tv”. People become addicted to that “character” & mis-prioritize. Meanwhile they are misled to believe there is a healthy balance because Kimora appears to be a great mother. If you really had everything you wanted in God, Faith, marriage, family, love, inner peace, a giving heart & soul, understanding that you are here to serve God & not the other way around, then would any one of us continuously thirst for a bigger house, a bigger yacht, more cars, more staff, more publicity & so on? We may want small pieces of any or all of these things, but we would not just keep going after it non-stop. I could see putting away enough money for me & my kids & grandchildren & maybe even another generation or 2 (they could not tap into their trust funds until they successfully worked in the working world until they are 40 or Warren Buffet style). If I continued to make money then I would think it would be for the sole purpose of creating more jobs & being directly involved in my own charities to reach as many of Gods Children as possible in a way that would help those without to sustain themselves without being dependent upon future help from anyone else ever. I would hope they would in turn dcarry the “torch” for others in need & so on. That’s just me though & everyone has an earthly-legal right to spend as they wish.
I look at people like Ted Danson & Jodie Foster who manage to steer clear of the hype, maintain quality roles & maintain financial security. It can be done. Ted is noted as one of the wealthier Hollywooders not because of his earnings as much as his lack of spending.
When God blesses us (with money, intelligence, talent, skill…) HE simultaneously expects HIS LOVE to be working through us to help others, respect others, & fill the gaps of society with our talents & blessings for HIS other children in a selfless manner. This means giving without broadcasting that you are giving. We are all pieces of a larger puzzle, but when we take our blessing/gift & become selfish with it, the puzzle can never be completed. It becomes an addiction within an addiction. You start to think “How can I make more money off the masses?” You never have “enough” because there is no such thing as “enough” when you lack a deeper faith in God. I am all about young ladies becoming self sufficient & successful, but not in the typical manner in which celebrities or other ruthless business people do it. It will take longer, but do it honestly. Do it with integrity. Do it while treating others with respect & as equals. Don’t be a door mat, but don’t act like there is any such thing as true royalty in this life. There is only one King no matter how many titles we through around in the secular world.
I respected Princess Dianna. She refused to buy into the hype. She was a true ambassador & got her hands dirty with human causes, ate with the kitchen staff, all while being despised for walking to her own beat, which I pray was God’s beat & HIS will for her.
Luke 12:48 states “…From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked…” It is not enough that we believe in HIM, we must strive to behave as HE would, though we will never attain that level of perfection. It is the trying & striving that matters.
I use to think that owning a company & creating jobs was sufficient pay back to society (God’s children) & that was responsible behavior. Meanwhile overlooking the mistreatment of employees, the excessive ownership of things, etc. I had to think if Jesus had all of this, what would HE do? Would HE own ALL of this & donate money here & there to charities (for tax benefits) or would he sacrifice some real wealth & trust in HIS FATHER to continually supply for HIM? If poor people trust in HIM to supply just the very basic needs, then who are the wealthy to think that having countless bank accounts is truly exercising faith in GOD to supply? Again I am not suggesting any one rid of all their wealth. Hold onto what is necessary for you & yours & enjoy life, but within reason.
Once Jesus is in your heart like he really should be you find it difficult to maneuver through & in society as you once did. It forces you to rethink even those actions you never thought were routed in evil, because they seemed so innocent or because it is your earthly right. This is not about guilt. It is about responsibility to HIM.
Are we teaching our kids true faith when we equate their security with their trust-fund inheritance? We should be focusing on their inheritance from God first & the trust fund should be the icing on the cake so they know their worth is based on God’s love for them & nothing else. As frightening as it is, 90 years of living in poverty on this planet is a fair trade off for eternity in pure wisdom, knowledge & bliss beside the ALMIGHTY. Faith is not counting what you have or don’t have (comparing your life to a Kimora or whoever). I have yet to reach that point, but I am trying & improving.
I pray for the wealthy as much as I do the poor. I often think many of the wealthy have a longer journey because of the false sense of comfort & security money brings us. We begin to think, “what do I need God for, I can afford to buy anything at any time?”. At best even if we believe in God, God can end up on the “back burner” because money becomes such a distraction. It takes aggressive & proactive daily concentration, meditation & prayer to keep it in proper perspective. I don’t mean 5 minutes a day. It has to constantly be on your mind in everything you do all day long every day & even then you will sin. It is exhausting until you get in shape-just like exercising.
Remember the devil gets off on humans who chase after false images of success & happiness. The devil gets off on those who don’t even think he exists. The devil can do far more damage if we don’t even believe he is there. Think about it… If you are going to steal money from a bank or a soul from a body, wouldn’t it be easier to do it if you were invisible? Afterward all the witnesses claim they didn’t see anything. No one came in & no one went out……….. seemingly. It could be months or years before you even realize something was stolen in the first place.
Make your money people, but do it in a Godly & righteous fashion. Balance your life with Jesus/God at the center. Ask HIM how you can serve HIM. He will want you to enjoy what you have but within reason. If you become famous, I pray you use your fame to spread HIS WORD in a non-threatening & appealing manner. Your kids are more likley to follow in your footsteps even if they stray temporarily.
You won’t be as popular as the typical successfully-hip people, but you will be pleasing the Lord of Lords & King of Kings. I’d rather get a wink, smile & thumbs up from my Almighty Father than thousands of people cheering for me & my antics. All of the above would be great too of course.

Spreading HIS word is not about you immediately witnessing the success or conversion of people. It is not about me, you or us (so don’t look for people to convert right before your very eyes). It is the Holy Spirit that will work in everyone at a later point in their lives (God’s time not ours) to truly motivate their free will to choose the right path.

I’m sure the baby is adorable. I however, can’t stand Kimora. I find her way to over the top-ignorant, and rude. I dn’t know how she got a tv show. No one really cares about her–I can’t even watch her show. The episode I did catch was her crying over her daughter getting her hair straightnened are u serious???? she is strange not funny, and should get off the air waves–boring.
