BET Awards 2009:BET Music Awards 2009 – BET Awards 2009 will take place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday.Executive producer for the Black Entertainment TV Awards,Stephen Hill revealed that the event will honor Michael Jackson and added:
“Words cannot capture the impact Michael Jackson has had on pop culture around the world. He changed the way we hear and feel and move to music; he epitomized what true musical talent and star power really mean. He is and always will be the King of Pop,” “Michael’s influence is felt every day in so many ways at BET Networks, and it’s been that way throughout our network’s entire 29-year history. We watched him grow up, and he truly feels like he is a member of our family. He will be missed more than we can say… but his legend and memory live on in the artists, musicians, producers, dancers, fans, and everyone else who looks to him for inspiration.”
Jamie Foxx will be hosting the BET Awards 2009.
My family felt like we lost one of our own when Michael Jackson died. I grew up loving him, and my children love him too. We are deeply saddened by his passing. I wish the Jackson family all the best. We will all be praying for them to find comfort after such a terrible loss.
i believe michael jackson was a prophet of god. through his beautiful voice, (a gift from god) important messages for mankind was sent. look back.. no listen back on his career carefully , and you will here the things we must do to change the world for the better. earth song , man in the mirror for example. i know we feel a tremendous lost. but we are looking at it the wrong way. instead we be looking at what a wonderful, precious, and enlighten gift god shared with us. now we should not only listen to, but act on the message that we received… remember once , only once in a lifetime!!!
