Barack Obama VP:Joe Biden–Barack Obama has picked Senator Joseph “Joe” Biden as his running mate.At a campaign rally in Springfield, Illinois,Obama formally introduced the vice presidential candidate in front of thousands of supporters.Obama said of Biden:
“He won’t just make a good vice president, he will make a great vice president”.
“He is that rare mix – for decades, he has brought change to Washington, but Washington hasn’t changed him. He’s an expert on foreign policy whose heart and values are rooted firmly in the middle class.”
Biden added:
“proud to stand firm with next US president.”
Biden repeatedly linked Republican candidate John McCain to George Bush and said the Arizona senator would be more of the same in the White House.
