It is being reported that Usher is maybe heading back to Broadway in a revival of the classic play Golden Boy.Usher is currently negotiating to play the role that made Sammy Davis Jr. famous in 1960s which is the story of a pianist named Joe Wellington who quits music to become a boxer. The composer of ‘Golden Boy’ Charles Strouse told the New York Post:
“I can’t tell you the contract have been signed yet, but Usher’s interest in the show is real. He’s a rare talent. He moves so well, and he’s a terrific singer. I would be the most flattered guy in the world if he does the show.”
Charles would not mention the theater nor the dates for play.
