Beyonce Knowles was pictured holding the international artist award at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.Knowles is the first female artist ever to win the award.While receiving her prize,the pop diva said:
“I am so blessed to wake up every morning and do what I love to do,” she told the audience. “I don’t take it for granted. I’m so grateful, I’m so honored and I’m so humbled by this award.”
Beyonce failed to win in the soul/rhythm and blues artist category,where she was beaten by Rihanna.Fergie took home the favorite pop or rock female artist title,where Beyonce was also nominated.
