Jamie Foxx will star in a new movie called “The Zebra Murders: A Season of Killing, Racial Madness, and Civil Rights.”
The Oscar-winning actor will reunite him with “The Kingdom” ‘s Matthew Michael Carnahan.
The film is based on the 2006 book by Prentice Earl Sanders and Bennett Cohen.
Foxx, will play Prentice Earl Sanders, one of two black detectives determined to crack a series of racially motivated serial killings in 1973-74 San Francisco.
Sanders becomes chief of police after the detectives successfully win their own battle against racism within the department.
Brad Pitt , Dede Gardner and Jaime Rucker King will produce alongside Foxx .
Jeremy Kleiner, Marcus King and Shelby Stone will executive produce the project.
