Oscar winner actress Jennifer Hudson, has joined the cast of Sex and the City.
The Movie, will begin filming next week in New York.
The ‘dream girl’ will be playing the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, Carrie Bradshaw.
Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis ,Cynthia Nixon and Chris Noth aka Mr Big have all signed up to reprise.
This week sources have revealed that ,Carrie is set to finally find true love with Mr. Big at the end of the movie.
In related news,the former American Idol contestant is also working on her debut album,to be released in 2008.
The diva performed recently at Fashion Rocks.
