Rap mogul Jay-Z has agreed to pay wrestler Diamond Dallas Page an undisclosed sum after infringing on his trademark.
Page’s lawsuit alleges that the two-handed gesture that Jay-Z flashes in his music videos, is trademarked by Page.
The wrestler will drop legal proceedings after the settlement,that requires both parties to cover their own legal fees.
Can I copyright ANY hand gesture I wish? I didn’t know you could do that.
Technically speaking , the hand gesture is a product of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority inc , which has been around a lot longer than either of these men. However there is no copyright on it.This makes me laugh.
